So, I had been patiently waiting for a willing participant to photograph in the teacup. I'm not sure if Emery & Braden quailify as "willing", but they didn't seem to mind too much.

Happy 1st Birthday....

Here are a few pics from Emery's birthday party. I think her favorite gift was the Dora couch. She was climbing all over it and she would lay down on it. She was also lovin' her cake. ..I don't think she's ever had that much sugar at one time!

By far the most memorable and touching momemt for me was after she opened her gift from Jerm and Mel. They got her one of those ride-ons that she can push from behind. Right away she started pushing it and WALKING!! Eventhough it was assisted, I have to admit it brought tears to my eyes. Its amazing to me that just a year ago she was so helpless in a incubator with all kinds of tubes in her and now I was watching as she took her first steps.

So.....

This was my project last weekend. I made this totally cute, totally poofy pink tutu for Emery. My goal was to get a few cute shots of her to give to Melissa on Emery's birthday (Dec. 14th). She had just woke up from her nap and was not in the mood, but I still think they came out pretty cute, of course I'm pretty biased! Maybe I'll get another chance soon.
